Innovation is a magic word in the modern world economy. But magic comes with a bit of a mistery, fear and mechanisms possibly not crystal clear. The workshop was born as an occasion to address and discuss all that. Or at least some major points, in an audience where economists mix-up with practitioners, scientists address industries (and the other way round), theoreticians and experimentalists talk to each other. And, with a bit of luck, even politicians and decision makers will pop-up (maybe). Bankers will certainly be around...
1. 5 days of straightforward discussions, reviewing the status of innovation in Europe and beyond, addressing policies to support it, debating about the role of the State in the process. And talking about intellectual property and the "open" models, the different ways of fostering innovation (and the young people of any age) and learning the stories of people who are making it.
1. 5 days of straightforward discussions on innovation and what is all about: society, policies, people, research, economics, drugs, anti-matter..
The event is open to anyone interested: researchers, PhDs, policy makers, tt professionals, business leaders, media, curious people
